Competitive Alternatives to the AEA™
Traditional power generation is the fall back position as an alternative to the AEA™. This alternative has a few inherent deficiencies:
• Remote from the served community causing inefficiency due to loss on lines and increasing the overall cost.
• Potentially promotes additional use foreign produced fossil fuels.
• More expensive.
Cogeneration (on site or combined generation):
• Can feed the grid but can't monitor the usage to avoid the downside of the energy pricing spread with the energy sales price lower than the cost of the energy which results in over generation and loss for the co-generation partner.
